(after 1818) Mary (Polly) (nee Rowley) Watrous m. Rufus Richardson, son of Jesse Richardson

Interpretation

Barber Collection appears to clearly differentiate between Mabel and Polly, forcing us to conclude that these are two separate women.
Record of marriage of Mabel and Timothy Waters appears to establish Mabel as his first known wife
Records of estate documents for Timothy Watrous and obituary of Jerome Timothy Watrous clearly identify Jerome's mother and the wife of Timothy at the time of his death as Mary sometimes known as Polly Rowley, making Mary the second known wife of Timothy.
We assume that the two instances of Timothy Watrous are the same man, since it would be expected that some record would be made differentiating the two if they both married sisters.

Still Unknown

Assuming two sisters were two wives of the same Timothy Watrous, we still don't know which wife, if either, was the mother of Timothy's first two sons: William born in 1807 and Samuel born in 1809, both in Connecticut
This provides no information on the parentage of Timothy Watrous
This provides no information on the maiden name and parentage of the sister's mother Bathsheba Rowley.
